Caught Somewhere in Time, Iron Maiden
Grew up in Somerset during the 1980s? Socially awkward? No girlfriend? If the answer to these questions is yes, then there’s a fair chance that, like me, you would have listened to Iron Maiden. Caught Somewhere in Time is a controversial choice as a favourite Maiden album, but it’s the one that I keep returning to.

Who else? I’m a Tottenham supporter. It’s not always a comfortable ride, but we finally ended our trophy drought in 2025 by winning the Europa League final. ​Here’s a link to my favourite Spur’s match – the incredible victory over Ajax in the Champion’s League. It brings a smile to my face every time I watch it! Come on you Spurs …
